My Words For Her Funeral

One of our many dance parties

She is Strong

You had a tattoo with that on your shoulder with Proverbs 31 written beside it.

You were so strong. You fought for what you loved. And you loved so much. You always gave of yourself to benefit me and Ramsey.

You wanted to be a mom so bad. We pretty much immediately started trying. And we stepped into such a long season of infertility. The Lord would use that in amazing ways to minister to other ladies who struggled in the same area. When we were blessed with Ramsey, you made it your mission to be the best mom. And you were the best! I’ll be forever blessed to hear him say “I love you, mommy.”

My most favorite memories are our family dance parties in the kitchen! Turning on Blake Shelton because you listened to him while Ramsey was in the womb, and I swear he loves his music because of that!

You brought our home joy, love, organization, and hope for our future.

I will always be your Disney loving man you mentioned in your vows. And I promise, I will devote my life to bringing Ramsey up in the Lord and remind him that he had the most amazing momma ever.

Love you,

Josh

  2. You honored her so lovingly, yet I’m sure you feel…still inadequately.
Mere words can only say so much, but they were most assuredly heartfelt and completely sincere.
Yours was, and still is, a beautiful and God-honoring love story.

  4. Such precious memories for you and Ramsey as you navigate the future without your beloved Chistina. She will always be with you both because she will always be in your hearts. ❤
