Fathering in Faith

Today marks Ramsey’s third birthday!

He’s loving life and he is honestly a huge part of my motivation to keep working hard. I wanted to first share some things he loves right now:

• Spending time with his cousins!
• Spending time with his grandparents!
• Trains
• Magnet Tiles
• The wingfeather saga
• Going to church 💙 (Sunday class and school class)
• Riding his balance bike (that he got on his birthday last year)
• Digging in dirt
• Running
• Spinning
• Going to the park with Finn
• Fries… lots of fries
• Going to a store to get something haha
• Creepy things (his words, not mine)
• Singing Jesus loves me (We sang that a lot with Christina and he still loves it)
• There are plenty more, but lastly, he loves to mention what he did with his mommy.

Just last week, Ramsey and I spent a 45 minute drive talking about her the whole way. He said things he liked about her, and he asked me what I liked about her. I’ve thought about when he wakes up, how he yells “Daddy,” when it always used to be “Mommy.” In the midst of this year that we would never have thought would happen, Ramsey has shown joy and resilience. I’m so proud of him. And I know Christina would be even more.

We all miss you, Christina. And I know this day would be such a joy in your heart. Love you.
